Daniela Rivera is a Mexican comic book artist, illustrator, and total hermit with a love for drawing a bunch of lines until they look like really cool people doing cool stuff. My sister’s a doctor, which isn’t relevant at all, but my mom brings it up every time I mention I’m an artist, so now it’s basically part of my personal brand.
When I’m not burning my eyeballs staring at a screen for eight straight hours, I’m channeling the soul of what I’m pretty sure is a very lazy botanist, collecting more plants than my shelves can hold and taking “short” afternoon power naps that somehow last two hours.
Some of my previous work includes assassin androids, vengeful vampires, alien heroes, werewolves… and now, steampunk mystery detectives. I love my job.
