We ended the Kickstarter on March 31 with over 900 backers and at 383% funded! Thank you to everyone who backed, tweeted, shared, posted, and helped get the word out. It means the world to me to have your support.
So where are we in all of this?
Funds have cleared and I’ll be ordering the lapel pins, the stretch goal magnets and metal bookmarks by the end of the month. I will also pull together the digital stretch goal rewards and send them to those who have backed for a reward by Kickstarter messaging in a couple of weeks. I will notify you through an update as well.
Progress on Issue 2 is moving along. Here is another panel from Issue 2, pg. 14 before coloring. (I try not to post spoilers.)
The Kickstarter for issues 3 and 4 will be determined by how quickly the art is completed and if fulfillment is done for 1 and 2. I don’t want to run it unless the art for #3 is finished and work has commenced on #4. I will keep you posted.
Dirigible Brewing Company
One of the best things about running a Kickstarter campaign is seeing old backers come on board and meeting new ones. This was especially the case when I met a backer by the name of Chris who runs the Dirigible Brewing Company in Littleton, MA. So I figured with a name like “Dirigible Brewing Company” AND being a backer, I had to give his place a shout out. They are a small family-owned brewery that pretty much only serves beer with a few pre-packaged goodies onsite, but they do bring in food trucks on occasion. They also have regular musical events.
I’m a hazy beer fan, so I was happy to see they had one called the Cloud Hopper, though the Penny Farthing sounds pretty good as well. I will definitely check them out when I’m in the neighborhood.
